On November 21^st, we had the extraordinary honor of teaming up with Disney to create a magical and unforgettable activation for the highly anticipated Moana 2 World Premiere. The evening was a dazzling celebration of storytelling, creativity, and, of course, indulgent chocolate.

Experiencing The Chocolate Voyage
To align with Moana’s adventurous spirit, we unveiled our Chocolate Voyage Experience during the premiere.

Hundreds of guests were treated to an interactive journey, filling their own custom Moana 2-themed chocolate boxes with a selection of our finest treats.

From our classic AlohaMacs Milk and AlohaMacs Dark Chocolates to the creamy caramel decadence of Maui Caramacs and the satisfying crunch of MacNut Crunch, guests got to select their favorites and fill their treat boxes for the movie premiere.

We also had our entire Paradise Collection on hand and staged them in clear cylinder jars to emulate a candy bar feel.

This curated selection represented the essence of indulgence, offering something for every palate while reflecting the rich and diverse flavors.

An Artistic Tribute to Moana’s World
To immerse attendees in the world of Moana 2, we collaborated with a talented local artist, Tanja Browne, to craft a show-stopping centerpiece: Maui’s iconic hook, reimagined in edible form. This stunning creation featured intricate details painted with edible colored cocoa butter and complemented with movie-inspired artwork. The display was brought to life with lush moss, stones, and florals, paying homage to the natural beauty of Moana’s world.

We also introduced other creative elements to decorate the chocolate bar, including wooden laser cut outs. We created 4” Kakamora characters from the movie (character art courtesy of Disney) and placed them around the table – the kids had so much fun seeing them! Wave cutouts to represent the rhythmic flow of the Pacific Ocean in 3 different shades of blue, and beautiful Kapa print patterns. Two straw umbrella huts were then placed behind the chocolate bar adding the perfect finishing touch.

Each intentional detail all came together, transforming the space into a magical setting – a night to remember.

Just as Moana’s story captures the power of family, friendship, exploration, resilience, and the enduring magic of the Pacific, Moana 2 continues the epic journey with beloved characters and new adventures. This sequel not only brings the magic of the first film back to life but also expands on its message, inspiring audiences to embrace their inner voyager.
